It was wonderful. Joey is actually much happier about it than he appears in this picture--promise! I have a bunch of pictures to share, courtesy of Joey's mom, but we left the disk at home (currently blogging from a coffeehouse in Charleston).
For now, we're busy tying up loose ends for our trip to Vietnam. We leave a week from Sunday for Ho Chi Minh City, and plan to stay for about a year. Our first few days will be a mini-honeymoon
here, followed by a month-long certification course via TEFL International. After that, we'll find a job (probably in HCMC, but possibly elsewhere in the country)!
Between now and then we have a little bit more time in West Virginia (including a party on Saturday with Joey's family and friends), then about a week in Pennsylvania. We'll celebrate with family and friends in PA Saturday afternoon before our flight leaves from JFK at 9:05pm on Sunday.
